Happy Easter...Finally!!

So I know it's a few days after Easter but oh well. We had a fun weekend. Thursday afternoon we picked up Gwen from preschool and then headed down to Rutland for the weekend. Rob's mom took Friday off so we spent the whole day with her and the girls got to help in her flower garden, ride their bikes that they got last fall (and Georgia got to ride one of those little toddler push bikes), and we went shopping for some really cute dresses and shoes. We dyed eggs and made chocolate easter candies that night because Robbie wanted to be there to do it with us and since he had priesthood Saturday night, Friday night seemed good. Gwen and Grace loved it, and Georgia just sat in her chair and snacked (which of course she loved).

Saturday Rob and I took the girls to see one of our friends, went to lunch, and just spent some time in and out of the house, playing and relaxing while waiting for Rob to go to the priesthood dinner and session of conference and for Rob's mom to get off work so we could spend some time with her. Sunday the girls got up and were so happy to see that the Easter bunny visited them at Grandpa and Grandma's house. They got candy, aprons, and even bubbles.

We took them outside for a little bit to blow bubbles and Georgia surprised us by saying "bwubule." We didn't know she could say that...she's learning so quickly and saying so many new words!!

We then went back inside, got ready to go to the church to listen to the first session of Sunday conference and pack up our stuff. After conference we came back to Rob's parents, changed, packed up the car and came back to my parents for dinner.

And what a yummy dinner it was!! Even the girls didn't fight too much about eating dinner. And after dinner they were surprised to see that the Easter Bunny visited them at Nana and Papa's house too. We even had an egg hunt with Aunt Mimi (my sister Melissa). It was a lot of fun and a wonderful Easter.

Thank you to my parents and Rob's parents for making it such a wonderful weekend!!

Cute color for the girls dresses! I love that color blue. Sounds like the girls made out like bandits with the Easter Bunny!
