The kids were super excited to carve their pumpkins. They ate really quickly that night, we cleaned up fast, and moved all the chairs and the table out of the kitchen so we could all carve pumpkins together on the kitchen floor.
Gwen and Grace had spirit week that week, and that day had been camo day, which is why they are both dressed the same (Gwen loved camo day). I think they were even more excited to carve pumpkins than they were for spirit week.
Gwen has gotten over being grossed out by the gooey pumpkin parts. She stuck her hand right in and went to work while planning out loud what her pumpkin was going to look like.
Grace hasn't really gotten over it though. She was pretty grossed out when she stuck her hand inside her pumpkin. Rob helped the older two girls out when they needed it, but spent most of the time carving Genni's pumpkin for her.
Georgia started out cleaning the goo out by herself, but decided it was taking too long and ended up having me do it for her.
While Genni tried to help out a little by pulling pumpkin gunk out of everyone's pumpkins, mostly she and I had some snuggle time while everyone else was busy. Love this sweet little baby!
Here's our pumpkins!! Grace did a Hello Kitty pumpkin (the one next to the sidewalk), and Georgia decided her pumpkin would be more traditional but had to have a unibrow and a big nose.
Rob decided it would be fun to carve Genni's upside down, and Gwen did hers all by herself, including the on purpose crooked smile. They all turned out awesome, and the fun we had together was priceless. I love the times we spend together as a family, and all the memories we make!
